30 pics to keep you creative juice going when you hit rock bottom and you need that bit of an eye candy to get you back on track.

CANS Festival was absolutely wonderful, a success (judging by the never ending queue) and they definitely have to do it again.
Not to ruin the show for all of you whom didn’t attend it till the very end, we have refused to upload any pictures of the events till now, just to preserve the thrill of the show for you.
Banksy, civilian, Bandit, Vexta and the rest did put up a really nice selection of work, some of their famous ones, some revisited (with a nice twist), and some brand new. Word 2008

Definitely very different to Word 2004 look wise, new main toolbar, with bigger, clearer icons against a plain background. The Gallery is the most impresive new element. Click on the button and an array of pre-designed objects appears. Documents Elements are a very interesting idea, Continue reading ‘Office 2008′

The Office of Government Commerce has assigned FHD with the task of rebranding it, sadly thought the people at FHD forgot to rotate the logo before submitting it. Read the full story here
Moral of story, always make sure you rotate your logo before submitting.
while we’re still at the logo and typo topic, a highly recommend time waster would be this (rather difficult) Font Game, not for the faint hearted typo fanatics.

Following yesterdays footsteps in the paper work magical world, I would like to highlight the French designer Marion Bataille’s upcoming book entitled ABC3D released later on in October this year. It is an alphabet pop-up book, taking you through each of the 26 alphabets in a bold and brilliantly executed ride. Starting with the lenticular cover, letters morph into one another and spring into states of depth, using nothing but striking black, red and white palette. Preorder your copy today from amazon
