I have been using this software since October last year, while it was still in it’s develpoment phase and I absolutely love it. On the 20th of April this year, it got upgraded to version 1.0 which all of the beta subscribers had the chance of receiving for free instead of paying $40.
Cha-Ching is a money managing application that happens to break away from the traditional complex looking, hard to use money managing softwares that are around now-a-days. Then again Cha-Ching doesn’t have all the powerful features that big name, heavyweight applications tend to have (e.g. VAT, asset management, profit and loss).
Cha-Ching is a straightforward, friendly and easy to use package that helps you keep track of your expenditure, create budgets, accounts and an integrated online banking browser (that sadly wont work with your UK HSBC account).
Honestly, purchasing this software back during the development days cost me $20 which seemed very reasonable for such an easy to use, useful software, but since the release of v.1.0 for $40 I’m not sure if they have done the right move by doubling the price, but then again give it a try, use the demo version available at their official website and watch yourself fall in love all over again.
Personally Cha-Ching is one of my favorite applications on MAC.
