The UFO Chandelier designed by Simon Bruenner has been out for a while, but I thought it is worth mentioning, as I am sure that not everyone had the chance to admire this wonderful piece of lighting.
The UFO Chandelier is made with fiberoptic cables arranged in a floating, glowing ring, by Neues Licht (which translates into “new light” from German) a german lighting design company, specializing in creating futuristic lamps with fiber optics.
Designer Simon Bruenner described his celestial chandelier as
simply from another world.
The beauty of fiber optic lighting is the possibility of feeding it from the same source, while the source could be located in a different room. Since the light source is separable from the fixture, even when using an electrical source these lights are completely waterproof, providing a beautiful lighting solutions for wet environments like spas and pools.
