Made For Skate

Made to Skate, a show that’s paying homage to the History of Skateboard Shoes down at the Old Truman Brewery. The show came to end on Sunday the 8th of July. The exhibition had a collection of shoes, showcasing Nike’s SB devision, Vans, lots of modified shoes which definitely is an inspiration (and a reflection of the skaters cult personality), Magazines, ads and other skate related items from the skateboarding’s history.
For more information on the show and some pictures go to the official website, here. If you did happen to miss it, don’t worry, as we will post some pictures next Saturday.
Till then personalize that shoe of yours and don’t be scared you never know, it might end up some day in a gallery.

I think of Nike shoes as basketball shoes or just to show off. Honestly I think people just wear it because it’s the latst trend and like to use it to show off, which I have no problem with. I’m a skater and to me, wearing Nikes for skating is’nt good, because I’m just ruining a nice pairs of expensive shoes. I’d rather use Nikes for going out and stuff.

    just be yourself!
